Gorgeous and rare vintage Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture Gown, from Spring/Summer 1992, shown here documented on the runway and worn by Tyra Banks. This phenomenal piece of course has a numbered label within. Strapless bodice comprised of navy blue polka dot silk chiffon, layered over and lined in mesh that has a boned and cupped bustier/corseting within. The bodice extends to a sheer peplum that falls over the skirt bottom. Attached, off the shoulder sleeves with an elastic cuff at the upper and wrist. Both the bodice and the sleeves are trimmed in adorable ruffles. Slightly stiff and substantial weight cotton blend skirt bottom that is semi-full and a-line, fully lined. Attached wide silk satin ribbon at waist that ties into a bow and spans the length of the skirt. Zip closure at side.
